Premises Liability

Often business and homeowners do their best to prevent and remove conditions which might cause harm to someone. Unfortunately for some, property owners and occupants can be reckless in creating or failing to repair or maintain hazardous conditions. New Jersey law makes owners and occupants legally responsible for remedying a hazardous condition on their premises, including:

  • Improper clearing of  ice or snow on walkways
  • Dogs not confined by a fence or leash
  • Poor maintenance of parking lots and sidewalks
  • Violations of building codes
  • Inadequate security of the premises
  • Debris from construction and other hazardous conditions

If you or someone you know were injured as a result of these unsafe conditions, you have the right to hold them responsible for any serious injuries that result by pursuing a New Jersey premises liability lawsuit.  If you or a family member were seriously injured because of a hazardous condition on someone else’s property in New Jersey, contact us for a free consultation.
