Mr. McElroy is a trial attorney admitted to practice law in New Jersey.
He graduated from Rutgers University, Magna Cum Laude with High Honors. He was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Mr. McElroy was awarded his law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1994. Thereafter he served a judicial clerkship in the Superior Court of New Jersey.
Mr. McElroy has successfully handled numerous civil and criminal cases including serious personal injury actions and complex construction defect claims. Ed has an intricate knowledge of insurance coverage issues and is considered to be an expert in the area of automobile Personal Injury Protection benefits.
In addition to his expertise in civil matters, he provides aggressive, success driven advocacy in all Superior Court criminal actions and municipal matters of consequence, specifically in the successful defense of drivers charged with the operation of vehicles while under the influence. Mr. McElroy has successfully argued before the Appellate Division. He is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and the Essex County Bar Association.
